Once upon a time, I had the sentence, "I hate politics," right under my name on my Facebook profile. Then I up and married a politician. Strange as it may seem, I still kind of hate politics. So does my husband. And politics, along with religion, are the topics we are told not to discuss in polite society. But I am not society, though I am polite, and so...prepare yourself.
