An Italian gal and a Irishman get together... Sounds like the start of a corny joke. Actually, I am not fully Italian and Jonathon is not fully Irish. But those would be our more dominant genetics. My great grandparents immigrated here through Ellis Island in 1912 from Palermo, Sicily. Jonathon's great, great, great (I don't know how many greats, actually, but they were here before the Civil War) relations came here from Ireland. One of Jonathon's relations was such a stubborn old fool that he spent a year in a Union prison because he refused to swear allegiance to the Union. My crazy relations had rumored ties, or so my Dad tells me, to the mob. So, we are well-matched.
