As we age, Amanda, methinks your writing becomes more robust in capturing emotions from ordinary Dutch bakery type events, and my reading brings my emotions to the surface more frequently. That marzipan bar sounds sinful. We make a journey to Holland, MI, on occasion, and often end up in DeBoer's bakery, and leave with a fresh supply of Banket.
