Merry Christmas! - Issue #48
This will be a short letter because the week preceding it was bonkers, and my usual writing day fell on Christmas Day, and I was a bit overwhelmed with all the trappings of making merry.
But, I did want to thank you all for faithfully reading my letter these last months. I now have 140 subscribers, and all 140 of you mean a great deal to me. Thank you for the many kind messages you have sent in response to my musings.
I also wanted to share a quick update about my newsletter platform, GetRevue. Twitter has decided to discontinue GetRevue. This news hit suddenly last week, so now I must find a different platform. I am leaning towards Substack as an alternative. It seems more reliable and some writer friends of mine use it and like it a lot.
I will have to switch to Substack before January 18. You shouldn't have to re-subscribe, as I should be able to switch pretty seamlessly from GetRevue to Substack. But I wanted to let you know what was happening so that the new platform didn't take you by surprise.
I will keep you informed with new developments.
I hope you had, and will continue to have, a very Merry Christmas!
That's all for now. Until next time, folks...
For it is good to be children sometimes, and never better than at Christmas, when its might Founder was a child Himself. -- Charles Dickens, A Christmas Carol
