Home At Last - Issue #21
About 15 people kindly volunteered to help us move everything out of storage and into our house yesterday. (In some cases, perhaps, their mothers volunteered them, but we appreciated them all the same!) Thank you to Brad, Britton, Chasie, Roe, Bad Brad, Dave, Bonnie, Jenn, Mike, Kyla, Cora, Hannah, Micah, Janet, and Priscilla. Some volunteers had to bow out at the last minute due to health problems, but we still appreciated their willingness, and we got the bulk of the moving done before 12:00. It was kind of astonishing how fast it went.
Due to the above move and all the piles of stuff sitting around waiting to be put away, this will be a short newsletter. I hope you will all forgive me. I have had little to no time to think about anything else besides moving for the entire week.
Tomorrow, we pick my mom up from the airport and she's going to stay with us for about 10 days so she can visit, see our new place, and help me tame everything.
I love this house and this little plot of land in so many ways already. I am thrilled to be a country girl again, and I have all the bug bites to prove it.
Bob says, "Hey."
Until next time, folks...
